Welcome to Evergreen Contractors! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By hiring us for your roofing project, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
We provide professional roofing services, including but not limited to roof installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection. A detailed description of the services you’ve requested will be outlined in your proposal or contract.
All estimates and quotes provided by Evergreen Contractors are free and based on the information provided by the customer. Prices listed in quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. If additional issues are discovered during the project, we will inform you immediately. Any changes in scope may result in adjustments to the final cost.
A deposit is required to secure your project, with the balance due upon completion of the work. Payments can be made via Evergreen Contractors we accept. Late payments may incur additional fees after 15 days past the due date, at a rate of 5% per month.
We strive to start and complete your project within the agreed-upon time frame. However, certain factors like weather conditions, material availability, and unforeseen issues may cause delays. Evergreen Contractors is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as severe weather, supplier delays, or acts of God.
Evergreen Contractors will assist in obtaining the necessary permits for your roofing project. However, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure all necessary approvals from local authorities are in place before work commences. If permits are not secured in a timely manner, it may affect the project schedule.
We provide a warranty on workmanship after the completion of the project. Materials are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, and we will assist you with any claims, but the responsibility lies with the manufacturer. Warranties do not cover damage caused by external forces such as storms, tree limbs, or improper maintenance.
Evergreen Contractors carries full insurance coverage, including liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage to the property, nor are we liable for damage caused by unanticipated structural issues or hidden defects. It is the customer’s responsibility to remove any fragile or valuable items from the workspace and to notify us of any potential hazards or concerns before work begins.
You agree to provide us with reasonable access to the property and roof to perform the required services. Any interference or denial of access may result in project delays or additional charges.
You may cancel your project by providing written notice 10 days before the scheduled start date. If you cancel after materials have been ordered or work has begun, you will be responsible for any costs incurred up to that point.
We follow all OSHA guidelines and best practices to ensure the safety of our crew and your property. Please inform us if there are any hazardous conditions on your property that may affect the project.
In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to resolve the issue through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be handled through mediation or binding arbitration as per state laws.
Evergreen Contractors reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or sending a written notice.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of VA, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with those laws.
